On August 29, 2024, the “Dispatching the Essence of Sports for Humanity” program was successfully held, engaging the Sri Lanka Schools Baseball Association. This event, specifically organized for the baseball players representing Sri Lanka in the Under-18 Asian Baseball championship, brought together prominent leaders, including Mr. Rajitha Fernando, Head of SRU, and Mr. Sampath Weragoda, President of the Sri Lanka Schools Baseball Association, along with the team secretary and teacher in charge. The program emphasized integrating sportsmanship, inclusivity, empathy, and ethical behavior, aiming to instill these values in young athletes as they prepare for the international stage.
