As part of the Sports for Humanity initiative, the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) proudly empowered J.A.S.I. Jayasinghe, a talented female boxer from the Sri Lanka Police Boxing Squad, represented Sri Lanka at the 3rd Belt and Road Boxing Tournament and International Training Camp in Xinjiang, China, from 15th to 30th August 2025.
Organized by the Chinese Boxing Federation, this prestigious event brings together athletes from around the world to promote friendship, discipline, and excellence through sport. Recognizing Ms. Jayasinghe’s dedication and achievements, IIT extends its support to ensure her participation—empowering women in sports and upholding the true spirit of humanity.
